The port of Saint-Nazaire on the Loire estuary is one of the most important industrial ports on the Atlantic coast. Between shipyards, logistics terminals and active harbour areas, the lighting requirements are both technical and demanding. The aim is to ensure optimum visibility for operators, increase safety on the quays and in the manoeuvring areas, while taking into account an environment that is particularly exposed to the weather, wind and salty air. To meet these constraints, a combination of SILL 48M and 48L luminaires and Sammode brand solutions were installed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 48M and 48L floodlights are characterised by their robustness, their waterproofness (IP65) and their ability to work in extreme conditions up to 55 \u00b0C. Their optics provide wide and homogeneous illumination with a light distribution that is perfect for large outdoor areas. The Sammode luminaires, renowned for their reliability and meticulous workmanship, complement the system, particularly in certain areas where more targeted or continuous lighting is required. Together, these solutions provide functional, long-lasting and efficient light while reducing maintenance requirements. The result is a safe harbour that is ready for use day and night and is shown to advantage in a simple way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
