Avec une hauteur de 337,5 m, elle est la deuxi\u00e8me plus haute d'Allemagne apr\u00e8s la tour de t\u00e9l\u00e9vision berlinoise \"Alex\" (368 m).<br>La technologie LED pr\u00e9cise de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Hoffmeister, marque SILL, permet de r\u00e9aliser des \u00e9conomies d'\u00e9nergie consid\u00e9rables pour l'\u00e9clairage de la tour. La tour europ\u00e9enne de Francfort est \u00e9clair\u00e9e en lumi\u00e8re blanche par le projecteur de type SILL 14L depuis le sol jusqu'\u00e0 la chaire (227 m). Les plates-formes situ\u00e9es au-dessus de la chaire devaient \u00eatre optimis\u00e9es du point de vue de la technique d'\u00e9clairage et principalement \u00e9clair\u00e9es en magenta typique de Telekom.Le projecteur utilis\u00e9 est le SILL 14M avec une technologie LED sp\u00e9ciale et une technique d'\u00e9clairage adapt\u00e9e \u00e0 la taille des plates-formes. Ce type de projecteur permet d'afficher diff\u00e9rentes couleurs, librement s\u00e9lectionnables, au moyen d'une commande DMX externe. En fonctionnement normal, c'est la couleur bien connue des t\u00e9l\u00e9coms - le magenta - qui est utilis\u00e9e.<br>Le nombre et la position des projecteurs n\u00e9cessaires ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9termin\u00e9s au moyen d'une planification 3D pr\u00e9alable.
