Boyne Bridge

The Boyne Bridge, with its large white pylon and taut guy wires, is one of the most recognisable bridges in Ireland. It elegantly spans the River Boyne and provides an important link on the Dublin-Belfast axis. The aim of this project was to provide reliable lighting for traffic while emphasising the structure without overdoing it. The 02 Sill floodlights were used to illuminate the bridge.

They are compact and unobtrusive and blend easily into the structure without disturbing its lines. Their light is precise and well directed, so that the most important elements of the bridge - such as shrouds or access points - can be illuminated without dazzling or detracting from the surroundings. The luminaires are robust and designed to withstand the sometimes harsh weather conditions in the region. Thanks to this simple and effective solution, the Boyne Bridge gains legibility and presence, especially at night, while maintaining its simple and elegant appearance.
