The lighting in the aquaplex indoor and outdoor pool in Eisenach was converted to state-of-the-art LED technology using conventional technology from 2008. The particular challenge was to be able to continue using the existing mounting points and to realise the conversion without major structural alterations.
In addition to the general lighting for swimming pools and circulation, particular emphasis was placed on different lighting moods. It is now possible to dim the light and adapt it to different scenarios. Furthermore, thanks to individually adjustable coloured light, the atmosphere in the pool can be adapted to suit events and uses. At the same time, a 50% saving in total connected load has been realised.
The SILL 155 and 153 projectors were used for the basic lighting of the swimming pools, the SILL 14S in RGBW for the atmospheric lighting and the downlights with a high IP65 protection rating in the showers.
