Coventry - Pool Meadow Bus Station

The Pool Meadow bus station in the centre of Coventry is a neuralgic point for the city's public transport system. Given the constant volume of traffic and the high frequency of use, the lighting had to fulfil certain criteria in terms of safety, visual comfort and architectural integration. To meet these requirements, SILL's 49M floodlights were installed in the access areas, in the bus car parks and on the edges of the building.

Thanks to their high-performance optical technology, the 49M luminaires provide uniform lighting without shadow areas and at the same time avoid glare - an essential criterion in a high-traffic area. Thanks to their compact design and unobtrusive installation, they blend harmoniously into the existing infrastructure. They are robust and reliable and offer a long-lasting lighting solution that is perfectly adapted to the external conditions of an urban environment. With the 49M, the Pool Meadow bus station has lighting that is both functional and aesthetic as well as reassuring for users, making daily journeys smoother and safer.
